The installation process is same as for any other APKs. But, one thing to check is that it clone version or non-clone version.
- If you downloaded the clone version APK, then you don’t need to uninstall the official Instagram app. They both can run side by side.
- But, if you use InstaZen non-clone APK, the you have to uninstall Official Instagram app first, then install this. Otherwise, isntallation will fail again and again.
After installation: open the app >> hold the home icon >> Instazen Settings >> Backup & restore >> restore any backup of your choice. That’s the best method for using this mod app without crash and bugs.
Is this Instagram mod really useable and useful?
As I said, we have used this app for 5 days. It’s clone APK was installed on my Realme P1. The mobile was running Android 16. Honestly saying, the performance of this impressed me as before this app we were testing EliteInsta. I can clearly say, in terms of stability, this app is currently far better than EliteInsta. So, in InstaZen vs EliteInsta, the first one wins!
The RAM usage was stable, around 320MB to 350MB during heavy scrolling and reel downloads. This is good optimization for a modified app. Battery drain was only 13% per hour of reel scrolling and downloading. Media downloads was smooth and working. The lag issues after turing on liquid glass navigation bar from previous version has 99% gone. Its huge plus for many users.
So, yes, currently, the app is recommendable for anyone want to try advanced Instagram features for free. The latest 8.5 version is more stable than before. So, download and install it.
